The color is soft, soft brown cut velvet on silk chiffon, with a hint of the most subtle lavender running through it and sprinkled all over with tiny sequins. The cut is bias and the stripes are planned to run slimmingly on the diagonal over the hips, while the skirt opens and closes flirtaciously.

This version is long with a raw hem, that could be cut shorter by the pirate girl who wears it...actually, I would just grab a chunk and rip it off, wherever.

I see this dress making the most charmingly romantic entrance to any event of the summer...whether worn over your bathing suit (remember it's washable), or belted over jeans. I am tempted to keep this, you will love it, too, and you will really love what it does for your body!

Size Generous Medium/Large

Very costly fabric and tons of hand sewing will make this dress $498 later...but for now...

$398.
