We are in a lot of good company...Rick Owens, Alexander McQueen, Comme des Garcons and almost all of the major contemporary designers.
We feel it lends a bohemian and piratical look to the garments, as do the small slivers of shredded and hand-dyed silks and laces that are painstakingly hand sewn onto each piece. This top would look wrong with a finished hem and we don't want to put our label on anything we don't like, would you? We want our customers to be ecstatic over everything we make for them.
If you don't like our boho chic esthetic, please don't place an order...you will not be happy and neither will we.
