Claudio Cristofori, founder of Blur leather, was born in Bologna, Italy. Now based in Los Angeles, he continues to have all his edgy, vintage-inspired pieces made in Italy.

Blur leathers are works of art, as much sculpture as clothing. Each piece is first dyed & dried, then individually processed by artisan tanners using special wooden barrels to bring out the amazing variations you see in their jackets and bags.

Each piece is then naturally dried & individually hand polished at the Blur factories in Italy. The result of all this individual attention is a vintage leather that is recognizable by its atypical wrinkles, imperfections and differences of tone which lend unique characteristics to every piece.
